Auraiya was established on 26th June 1989 as an Outlying Court of District Etawah. It was inaugurated by Hon'ble Mr. Justice S. K. Mukharji (Administrative Judge of Hon'ble High Court Allahabad). District Court Auraiya was initially established on 25 June 1998.
