Rajgarh District was established in 1976 in the area of It's former Eastern District, Rajgarh District Court, Guna. Since July 1976, Rajgarh Northern District includes Tehsils Biaora, Narsinghgarh, Khilchipur and Jirapur of revenue district Rajgarh. Revenue District Rajgarh Tehsil of Sarangpur Revenue District was under the jurisdictional area superintendent of Revenue District Shajapur and from 01-04-2012 Sarangpur Tehsil was transferred to Rajgarh District by order of the Honable High Court of Madhya Pradesh Jabalpur.The first District and Sessions Judge of District court Rajgarh was Mr. V.K. Pandey who assumed charge on 15-07-1976 and currently Mr. Rajiv Karmahe is working as the Principal District and Sessions Judge in District Court Rajgarh Establishment from 06-11-2023.
