The Government has declared the Navsari as the District by virtue of necessary notification.Therefore by passage of time, on 21.06.2002, newly re-constituted Judicial District of Navsari came into existence and District of Dang had been kept with the Judicial District of Navsari at Navsari. Since then, the District & Sessions Court of Navsari has been functioning as such. The building in which the existing court is housed is known as Srimant Sarkar Sayajirao Gayekwad Building which was constructed in the year 1882, which building is considered to be monument of Gayekwad regime.
