District Court - Narmada

From the beginning since 1980, Taluka Camp Court, Rajpipla was functioning at Rajpipla from Bharuch District as a joint jurisdiction of Bharuch. Thenafter, Narmada district was bifurcated from Bharuch district to District Court, Narmada. Then District Court, Narmada came into existence w.e.f. 03/03/2006 at Station Road, Rajpipla.On 22/10/2022. The new District Court building, at Vadia was virtually inaugurated by Hon’ble Mr. Justice M.R. Shah Saheb, Judge, Supreme Court of India, Hon’ble Chief Justice of Gujarat High Court Arvind Kumar, Honble Chief Minister of Gujarat Shri Bhupendra Patel, Gujarat Minister of Law & Justice Honble Mr. Rajendra Trivedi and thenafter court is functioning in new Court Building at Vadia w.e.f. 01/11/2022. This Court building has 18 court rooms with fully furnished furniture. At present two Sessions Courts and one SD Court, one Chief Court and two J.D. Courts are functioning in the said building. This court building is equipped with modern technology having CCTV Camera, Lift facility, AC Conference hall, AC Library, 2 AC Court rooms, separate Lift for Judicial Officers as well as litigants. It has vast parking area around the building, having separate parking for Judicial Officers, Advocates & litigants. It has suitable arrangements for sitting/waiting for litigants. 8 RO drinking water plant are installed in Court building. It has a big garden, there are trees and flower plants surrounding the court building hence the building has natural light and air. The new District Court building is situated at Vadia, Rajpipla and nearby all government offices like District Panchayat, SP office and Collectorate. Narmada district consists four Talukas : (1) Dediyapada (2) Sagbara (3) Tilakwada (4) Garudeshwar.
