District Court - Dhamtari

In October 2006, after separating from the Establishment of District and Sessions Court Raipur, the District and Sessions Court Dhamtari came into existence. It operated in the new building constructed in the area of Gram Panchayat Rudri. At that time, one Additional District Judge, Chief Judicial Magistrate, and two Civil Judges were functioning in the Dhamtari Civil District. The Foundation stone of new District and Sessions court building was laid by Hon’ble Shri S. R. Nayak Hon’ble Chief Justice of High Court Chhattisgarh on 2nd September 2006. The new court building was inagurated by Hon’ble SShri R.L. Jhanwar, Judge Chhattisgarh High Court, Portfolio Judge of the District Court Dhamtari On 2nd October 2010.
