The Courts in the District are functioning prior to independence of nation, however the head-quarter of District Court including Record Room was at Akola i.e. the work of Courts in Buldana District was under the supervision of District and Sessions Judge Akola till 31st March, 1959. From 1st April, 1959, Buldana Judicial District is separated from Akola District and on that day the office of District and Sessions Judge was established at Buldana. The old District Court Building is built in British Regime and the new one is built in the year 1972.
